GATE 2020 – The GATE 2020 Exam Date are February 01, 02, 08, 09, 2020. IIT Delhi announced the dates for GATE on the official website, gate.iitd.ac.in. IIT-D also confirmed that this year, Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering will be held for 25 subject papers and the new addition is Biomedical Engineering (BM). GATE 2020 will be held at national level and 6 centers will be outside India as well. Eligible graduates seeking admission in M.E, M.Tech, and Ph.D. courses in IITs, NITs, CFTIs, and IIITs can apply for GATE 2020 from September 03, 2019. Preparation Tips For GATE 2020

1. Know the GATE 2020 Exam Pattern: The exam pattern of GATE is different for all the subjects. Therefore the candidates have to concentrate on the exam pattern of their subject only and not get confused with the pattern of rest of the subjects. The exam pattern will help the candidates to know the sections in the questions, the number of questions in the exam and the marking scheme of the exam as per which they can strategize how to attempt the questions on the exam day.

2. Collect the important GATE 2020 Books: Not all books will help you with GATE 2020 Preparations, you need to collect some specific books for your subject. You will be baffled if you start reading a lot of books. Select one good book and it will help you a lot.

3. Collect Previous years question papers: Solving the previous years’ question papers is the best way to prepare for GATE. This is because, if you prepare using the revious years’ question papers you get used to the nature and level of the examination. Thus, you are not only prepared with the questions, but you are also prepared to face the actual examination as per the duration, marking scheme, and pattern.

4. Take Mock Tests: To make yourself familiar with the exam pattern and scheme, you can take mock tests. Thus, you can either create a mock test of your own using the previous years’ question papers or you can visit the online website for mock tests. The official mock test portal of GATE 2020 is also made available with the launch of the online portal.
